SPARADRAP, getting to know us

Over twenty years' experience

In 1986, in the children's ward of an ENT hospital, two anaesthetists took several measures to improve the management of children undergoing tonsils and adenoids operations. They widened the use of anaesthesia, explained the anaesthesia and the operation to the families and introduced genuine pain management and an approach to healthcare through play. With the help of the Fondation de France, SPARADRAP was founded in 1993 by parents and healthcare professionals in order to develop and broaden the use of these practices.
